What is actually ready

This board separates current working assets from observed live surfaces, historical reference material, unresolved work, and approval gates.

Near-term objectiveReview, prove, receiveReview the completed fresh Issue 02 candidate, prove the paid checkout path, and run one controlled received-email form.
The product site, subscription handoff, current V5.6 template, miniature issue, and first fresh source-to-preview V5.6 run are in place. Issue 02 has not entered Beehiiv. Paid checkout and the actual received email remain unproved.

Key distinction. The website and email template are no longer blockers. A preview does not prove Stripe conversion or the received Gmail form, and no test send, scheduling, or publication has been authorized by this board.

Build evidence is in hand; approval and proof remain

A launch console reads left to right: what is in hand, the next proof, Steve’s keys, and what has not run. Green is observed, amber is open or reference-only, red is held. The lamp board below polls every capability area from the readiness table; no lamp claims more than the record says.

Current stops: Issue 02 editorial review; miniature private-test approval

Build evidence is in hand. Issue 02 editorial approval and separate Beehiiv-entry permission remain open. The miniature still needs scoped test permission and received-email proof. Payment proof and final release approval remain open. The paid checkout path is a separate commercial proof and may be tested without sending the issue.

Published product
Observed live
Issue 00 is publicly published and the live issue displayed a $139 annual offer.
Do not confuse the older issue structure with the selected V5.6 direction.
Brand system
Current working
REV 2 core plus the scoped email application profile is the current recorded package.
Use the core for general identity and the email profile only for newsletter work.
Email design
Current working
V5.6 is the selected baseline: logo, palette, six-level type hierarchy, greeting, story map, weighted lead, quick hits, close, poll, footer.
Test it with real issue content in received email clients.
Beehiiv template
Current default; verified
TNP Issue Template V5.6 — Current was rebuilt from the verified issue and set as the default post style. The older structure is explicitly marked superseded.
Use the Template Library entry for the full section structure; default style alone carries only visual styling.
Miniature issue
Draft complete
Healthcare AI is leaving the dashboard contains the greeting, four-story map, weighted lead, shorter secondary stories, quick hit, watch section, close, native poll, footer, and direct sources.
With scoped approval, send only to Steve and inspect the received form.
Fresh repeatability run
Source-to-preview complete
Issue 02 used Gmail and every Innermost Loop post in the current window, passed provenance and skeptical-claim checks, and rendered clean desktop/mobile V5.6 previews. X remained parked.
Steve reviews the named candidate before any Beehiiv entry or external delivery.
Web domain
Observed live
thenextpatient.com is the independent Cloudflare Pages product site. www.thenextpatient.com carries the Beehiiv subscription, issues, account, and upgrade surface.
Retest the full visitor handoff on desktop and phone after material changes.
Landing page
Product site live
The root site explains the product and directs visitors into the Beehiiv subscription path; it is no longer the generic Beehiiv stub.
Measure comprehension and conversion before adding polish.
Sender identity
Deferred
The shared Beehiiv sender is acceptable for the current baseline and no longer blocks the website, template, or a scoped self-test.
Revisit a custom sending domain only if received-mail evidence shows a material problem.
Paid checkout
Not proved
The subscription surface exists, but the real Beehiiv/Stripe paid-customer path has not been verified end to end in this closeout.
Inspect the route up to payment without purchasing or changing the existing ZTS/Keepr Stripe identity. A successful transaction and paid access require a separately authorized controlled proof.
Binary assets
Reconciled
The room manifest records 80 R2 pointers as of 6 Sep, including two Issue 02 render proofs. This audit checked the manifest; it did not revalidate every R2 object. V5.6 HTML and masthead are in GitHub; render and lead-image proofs are in R2.
Add new generated assets through the manifest—not through filenames in chat.
Source & selection method
Tested small
A September micro-run used Gmail and The Innermost Loop's public channels, removed a likely duplicate, and improved the lineup through direct-source verification.
Repeat on the full source window before treating coverage as production-complete.
Copywriter pass
Newly explicit
The first micro-run produced an accurate but dull analytical draft. A dedicated copywriter pass materially improved the subject, opening, thesis, headlines, pacing, and reader payoff.
Run copywriting as its own station after evidence and ordering, then send the result through the skeptical edit.
Factory documentation
Reconciled here
Revision 3.2 was the newest old floor plan. Its durable station logic was carried forward; its old ownership and status claims were not.
Update this board from actual runs, without promoting process chatter into rules.
Cross-model handoff
Open
GitHub and R2 provide the shared spine. A model must still reload the named room state and artifact before acting.
Use one self-contained handoff per job and record the resulting evidence.

Next operating sequence

From completed build to proof

Each step produces visible evidence without reopening closed template or website work.

  1. Complete: Put the independent product website and Beehiiv subscription handoff live.
  2. Complete: Rebuild, name, and default the current V5.6 template; mark the older structure superseded.
  3. Complete: Build the miniature issue with direct sources, native poll, desktop preview, and mobile preview.
  4. Open: Inspect the Beehiiv/Stripe route up to payment; record transaction and paid-access proof as still open. Do not change billing identity or complete a purchase.
  5. Approval gate: Send only to [email protected] and inspect it in Gmail.
  6. Correct the template failures exposed by the received email.
  7. Correct only the failures exposed by the received email; do not redesign the line.
  8. Complete through preview: Run a fresh issue through the V5.6 line without X; preserve the source ledger, copy, and responsive evidence.
After the core proofs
  • Measure the public site's visitor-to-subscription handoff.
  • Define the first narrow acquisition audience and experiment.
  • Finish the Obsidian current-state navigation and daily handoff rhythm.
